I do not know how to express my happiness of today. To go with the main facts: we had plenty of sun, temperature of around 20 degrees and I guess and we’ve seen a great amount of the Hanging Glacier with few clouds only.
It was maybe the 4th day without rain within our 14-day-trip so far. We already questioned our project to cycle Patagonia during spring as we’ve been rather unlucky with the weather so far. Even 1 day before we had arrived on the campsite and temperature were low. Packed into 3 layers of pants and jumpers again we had hardly seen the glacier’s waterfalls due to a very low layer of clouds. How disappointing even though the noise of the moving or even falling ice is very impressive.
But if there is such a thing as a weather god, he had the right timing to send us some sun and whatever it is to make him happy I would like to repeat that thing. Full of new hope and energy, with a dry tent, my sandals on my feet and wearing a t-shirt I am a much happier person. Thanks a lot!
