The abandoned pink cyclists house

Out of El Chalten we get to the windy dry lowlands surrounding the Route 40. The horizon seems much further than in in Chile.
Soon desert like mountains rise before us and the tranquil Leone river sticks to our side.
Eventually a pink house comes into sight, our target for the day.
The abandoned and ran-down place looks a bit queer to us and so at first we keep our distance.
Entering the living area, we discover a cyclists register on the wall and suddenly feel welcome at this strange place.
This is our entry. Come on, fellow cyclists, drop the meat!
We put up our cosy tent next to the river and enjoy the evening. Thank you, pink house, for a nice and free place to stay for the night.
And off we are the next morning into some beautiful dry mountain scenery.
